Mary Beth

Your first contact with our office will be the cheery voice of Mary Beth, our enthusiastic receptionist-manager who has been with us since we set up our practice.  Mary Beth began working with Dr. Cremasco as his chairside dental assistant after she graduated in 1981 from Certified Dental Assisting at Fanshawe College in London.  She went on to obtain her Preventive Dental Assistant certification.

In 1990, Mary Beth brought her dental knowledge to the front desk and became our receptionist. Her warm and friendly demeanor continues to make every patient feel like he or she is a member of our dental family.  In 2000, she received the Dental Assistant and Receptionist Appreciation Award from the Guelph and District Dental Assistants Association.

She capably manages the flow of patients through the office by scheduling appointments, carefully taking care of billings and payments, performing day-to-day office administrative duties as well as assisting the Dentist from time to time when the need arises.  Mary Beth is also certified in CPR.

Mary Beth enjoys baking, photography, biking and spending time with her family.

Bev & Heather

One of our two Certified Dental Assistants (CDA II’s), Bev or Heather will welcome you and bring you into the treatment room. She will help you to be comfortable in the dental chair and ask you if there have been any changes in your medical history. The role of the Certified Dental Assistant is to help the dentist during patient examinations and treatment procedures. She prepares patients for treatment, passes instruments and materials to the dentist and keeps the mouth dry using suction during treatment procedures. The CDA sterilizes dental instruments, takes x-rays and dental impressions and may polish and / or apply fluoride to your teeth. We are fortunate to have two very friendly and capable Certified Dental Assistants.

Bev is a Certified Dental Assistant (CDA 11) who has been with us since 2000. She graduated from the Nova Scotia Institute of Technology with a Certificate of Achievement in Dental Assisting. She successfully completed the Coronal Polishing for Dental Assistance program in 1998 with the Provincial Dental Board of Nova Scotia and is NDAEB (National Dental Assisting Examining Board) certified. Bev has previous experience in many aspects of dental field, including Orthodontics, Periodontics, Endodontics, dental reception as well as administration and insurance review. She capably covers the front desk from time to time where she uses her excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Bev is a current member of the ODAA (Ontario Dental Assistants Association) and is certified in CPR. Bev’s warm and welcoming manner provide a positive dental experience for our patients. Her interests outside of work include traveling, curling and biking. She enjoys time spent with her husband, three children and their two dogs.
